great base for city walks and nearby parks

I really appreciated how the hotel was just a short 2 km drive to the Great Lakes Museum of Military, which was a fantastic place to explore, and the nearby Creek Ridge County Park offered wonderful trails for a peaceful stroll among nature, making my solo weekend so enjoyable.

The indoor pool provided a great way to relax after a long day, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Enjoyed fresh breakfast options and appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the room. However, the front desk service fell short with some unprofessional behavior, particularly from Jennifer, which detracted from the overall experience. Requesting assistance with a receipt turned into an unpleasant confrontation that should have been handled better.

The breakfast selection falls short, particularly with the lack of options like scrambled eggs and decent coffee. the sausage isn't up to standard and could definitely use more variety. The noise level is problematic due to thin walls, with sounds from the pool area echoing into the rooms, making restful sleep challenging. Additionally, some reported issues with housekeeping, where the rooms did not receive adequate attention during their stay, which raises concerns about overall cleanliness.

Breakfast was a highlight with flipping delicious hot waffles that made mornings feel special. Plus, kudos for having friendly staff who really hustled to keep things moving, despite some hiccups.

Family trip, nice rooms but pricey

I really enjoyed the friendly staff and the great breakfast that was available every morning. The toiletries were great too, made me feel like I was in a much nicer place, you know?

It was not cheap, around $130 a night for what I expected to be a better experience.

We had a pleasant stay with our special needs son and his autism support dog. The hotel's location was convenient for visiting Indiana Dunes State Park. The complimentary breakfast was enjoyable and kept us fueled for our daily adventures.

In my wife’s opinion, management should improve noise control policies. It would be great to limit the number of rowdy guests during peak hours.
